Five months after its full US rollout, Amazon's rebuilt assistant has a settled reputation — and it's worth knowing before you hand over $19.99 a month. Alexa+ went wide in February, comes free with Prime, and got a real upgrade this week: it now connects with smart home gear from Bosch, Delta, Ecovacs, iRobot, and Yale Home, and follows more complicated instructions than before.
What the money buys
